What Is A Ping Golf Club?

If you have been having a poor golf game, then checking out your golf club should be one of the first steps you take to see where some improvements can be made. Many mishaps can be avoided by changing clubs and there are experts that believe that this is actually the number one reason for poor golf games. Because of this that is where the Ping Golf Club comes along and was created.

The Ping Golf club was designed by Karsten Solheim; the intention of the club had a different purpose originally. Karsten had been practicing his golf swing and was having problems hitting the ball. He began designing and experimenting with different golf clubs and making his own putters so that he could play better. He designed his own putter and at that time had no idea that it would become known and used worldwide. By 1959 he had created the A1 design. He had picked an official name for his club, but came up with the name while listening to the sound his golf club made the ping sound. During that same time Sports Illustrated had written an article in the August addition where they nick named the golf club the musical putter.

This began the success of the Ping Golf Club. Currently, the Ping Golf Club is made in Phoenix, Arizona at the Karsten Manufacturing Corporation. At this time they have 400 patents that they have registered for the Ping Golf club and every design is different and innovative. They are all original designs and are made specifically for every type of golfer. These are some of their most important patents and products.

Many people, especially professional golfers have recognized that the Ping Golf club is one of the best clubs on the market. Even if you lose one of your Ping Golf club, they are actually mark all of their clubs with serial numbers etched into the Ping iron. With this number they are able to look up your club with the exact specs you asked for and create you another one. This club will match your set exactly, with no problems.
